CALL TO ORDER
READING AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES 12 September 2024 and 16 September 2024
TREASURER’S REPORT
UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Budget workshops will be held on October 17, and October 24 at 6PM. No action will be taken;
members of the public are welcome to attend.
2. The town is hosting a Trunk or Treat event at the Community Center on October 31, 2024, from
5:30PM – 7:00PM.
3. The General Election will be held on November 5, 2024 from 7AM – 8PM.
4. The budget hearing and other budget meetings are tentatively scheduled for November 14th at 7:00
PM. Meeting notices will be posted 15 days prior to the meetings, per state law.
PUBLIC COMMENT
OLD BUSINESS
1. Consideration and approval of borrowing $500,000.00 from National Bank of Commerce; with
interest at 5.320%; fully amortized over 15 years; with estimated payments of $4,054.48 each month;
commencing November 5, 2024, with a final payment due on October 5, 2039.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Review and discuss the financing options for the purchase of the new grader, taking into
consideration trade-in values.
2. Review and adopt Budget Resolution No. 2024 – 10.
3. Appoint Thad Lintula, Lauren Wiita, Arlene Bunnell, and Clint Schmidt as election inspectors for the
General Election held on November 5, 2024. Review and adopt Budget Resolution No. 2024 – 10.
4. Review and discuss the driveway permit application for 10987 E Harju Road, submitted by Chris and
Nicole Sinderman.

FUTURE BUSINESS
CLOSED SESSION, Pursuant to WI Statute 19.85 (1) g, c
1. Review Circuit Court Case No. 2023-CV-309 with town legal counsel who is rendering oral or written
advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the town.
2. Consider the employment, promotion, compensation and performance evaluation data of Roger
Colby, a public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises
responsibility.
